Pragmatic Play released Gates of Olympus Xmas 1000 on 2 December 2024. It is a festive edition of Gates of Olympus 1000, with a snowy Olympus, and Zeus in a Santa hat and red robes. The release joined the company’s Greek-gods series after Wisdom of Athena 1000 and Bow of Artemis.
What stays the same
- A 6×5 grid with wins from eight or more matching symbols anywhere on screen.
- Tumbling reels, with winning symbols removed and new ones dropped in.
- Multiplier orbs from 2× to 1,000×, combined and applied at the end of each spin.
- Four or more scatters award 15 free spins, and three or more scatters in the bonus add five more.
- A maximum win of 15,000× the stake.

What is new
The change is mainly visual. The reels use winter versions of the classic symbols, with a snowy crown, hourglass and gems, and the game page describes special reels in the free spins. Pragmatic Play’s chief operating officer called the release a festive twist on one of its most popular games ever, which is consistent with a reskin: same engine, new look.
What it means for players
Because the mechanics match Gates of Olympus 1000, the same session budget, spin count and stop limits apply. Do not treat the festive theme as a different risk profile. Seasonal games are also often promoted by operators around December, and bonus terms may exclude or weight them differently, so read the conditions before using a promotion.
