Pragmatic Play released Gates of Olympus Super Scatter on 28 April 2025, with a maximum win of 50,000× the stake. The game is a special edition of the original, and keeps its 6×5 tumbling grid, but changes where the biggest prizes come from.
The Super Scatter
When the bonus is triggered, Super Scatter symbols can pay cash prizes on top of the free spins. One Super Scatter pays 100× the stake, two pay 500×, three pay 5,000× and four pay 50,000×. These prizes come from a symbol, not from the orbs, which is why the top prize is so much larger than the orb values in the same game.
Other features
- Multiplier orbs range from 2× to 500×, the same ceiling as the original and lower than the 1,000× of Gates of Olympus 1000.
- Four or more scatters award 15 free spins, which can be retriggered.
- Special bonus reels make multipliers more frequent in the free spins.
- Ante Bet and Bonus Buy options exist in markets where they are allowed. Bonus Buy is not offered in every country, including the UK.
A different kind of ceiling
Pragmatic Play’s chief operating officer described the release as an epic addition to the series, introducing a new scatter symbol and wins of up to 50,000×. For players, the practical point is that the cap is reached by a rare symbol combination rather than a rare orb. A 50,000× cap is powered by very unlikely events, so plan a session as if you will probably not see the top prizes, and stake accordingly.
