New release

Gates of Olympus 2500: multiplier orbs now reach 2,500×

Pragmatic Play announced Gates of Olympus 2500 on 28 September 2026, presenting it as an expansion of the Olympus series with a higher multiplier ceiling, free spins and four new bonus game modes. The base game stays familiar: a 6×5 grid, wins from eight or more matching symbols anywhere on screen, and tumbling reels that remove winning symbols and drop new ones in. What changes is how big the multipliers can get and how the bonus is entered.

What is new

  • Orbs up to 2,500×. Zeus can drop multiplier orbs from 2× up to 2,500× on any spin. The original’s orbs stop at 500× and Gates of Olympus 1000 reaches 1,000×. As in the other versions, the orbs that land on a spin are added together and applied to that spin’s winnings.
  • A wheel before the bonus. Four or more scatters award 15 free spins, and a wheel then decides which free-spins mode you play. Some modes carry a multiplier total forward, and the Super Free Spins modes start with a minimum ×10 multiplier.
  • Ante and buy options. In markets where they are allowed, the game offers an Ante Bet and several Bonus Buy routes. Not every price is confirmed yet, so check the in-game information before using them.
  • RTP and win cap. Pragmatic Play’s game page lists an RTP of 96.51%, and the maximum win is listed at 25,000× the stake.

How the ceilings compare

  • Gates of Olympus: orbs up to 500×, maximum win 5,000×
  • Gates of Olympus 1000: orbs up to 1,000×, maximum win 15,000×
  • Gates of Olympus Super Scatter: orbs up to 500×, maximum win 50,000× through its Super Scatter prizes
  • Gates of Olympus 2500: orbs up to 2,500×, maximum win 25,000×

The biggest orb is therefore not the biggest possible result. Super Scatter reaches a higher cap through a different mechanic, while 2500 concentrates its extra reach in the multipliers themselves.

What it means for players

A higher ceiling is not a higher return. The default RTP stays close to the 96.5% of earlier versions, so the extra reach is paid for by results that are even more spread out: long quiet stretches and rare, large rounds. Operators can run their own RTP profile and may switch off buy or ante features in some markets, such as the UK, so open the game’s info screen before you play. As a new release, it is appearing across operators gradually.
